Quarantine Hobbies:
(Write the following post in between 200-250 words, also make comments on your teacher's blog and on 3 of your classmates' blogs)
The following post has not been a great challenge to write since as well as many people all around the globe, I have myself been in lock-down for months!, and giving this context, the killing of time has (I believe) made people (and myself too) show their creativity and need for "doing stuff" by developing hobbies and recreational activities that might be performed either indoors or within the space of our residence.
At the beginning of the lock-down in Providencia, I started cleaning as a loony because I didn't want to get any disease or so, but after having everything cleaned up at least twice (LOL) I got bored and took out my crafting box where I keep crayons, pencils, paint, wool and my crocheting set.
So my hobbies have been very varied, I have read but also I have made some experiments with concrete and other materials but yet, the hobbies I have practiced the most have been crocheting and also painting. I have been crocheting for some time already but now I have explored many other options such as knitting carpets, knitting a woolen mesh to decorate plants, a tablecloth, sandals, and the classic amigurumis.
Also I have taken up painting again. It has been a while I don't use any painting but as said, I took over the brushes and it all came back naturally, just like riding a bike, the colour mixing, composition, drawing, etc, made full sense to me and for some reason, while I have been painting again, it all seems right and in the right place.
Apart from all the activities I have mentioned, needless to say, I have kept on carrying out my investigative and teaching duties, so as you can imagine, the lock-down and the quarantine have affected my outdoor experiences but still, I have (at least I think so) managed to keep up the good mood by using my time creatively and also productively.
Here some pictures of what I've been exploring with:
